Are there any dog carriers that dogs like?

I would like a dog carrier for my toy/mini poodle that she would be comfortable in. The puppy purse says its good, but its weird, and expensive. I need something that I can take her in the car or just around with me. And all people who think its mean to put a dog in a purse, how many times have you wanted to be carried when your feet hurt? Or if you have to walk across a road with your dog but they won’t stay still. I would like one around $20 if possible. And if the same place has affordable pet clothes too, all the better!
My dog falls asleep every ten minutes. I mainly need this because I’m going to a family party and I’m trying to get my mom to let me bring my dog and I want her to be comfortable and safe.

You aren’t going to like my answer.

There is no reason in the world to have a dog carrier for everyday activities like walking. If the dog is uncontrollable, that is a training issue. Train her!

For the car, yes, you need some sort of restraint or crate. You can acclimate any dog to a seatlbelt or crate. (Crates should be tethered to the vehicle, otherwise they go flying in a crash the same way an unrestrained dog would. I personally prefer the seatbelt for a single dog. )

PetEdge.com is a vendor who is reasonably inexpensive for clothing and crates, but there are many. Overstock.com even frequently has many quality items.

ETA: If you are trying to bring the dog to a party, then you should also bring a crate. If the dog is stressed out or uncomfortable, just put her in her crate in a quieter space.
