Wireless connection,…. cutting out?
hi,…… i’ve made a laptop ariel, by connecting an indoor tv ariel to my wireless card for my laptop.
It works as well as the proper ariel, but still tends to drop out, cutting my connection.
Would it hold a connection better, if i was to construct an ariel 4 times the height and width of my small tv ariel i am using at the moment.
Any of you hi tech types have any tips, on my building a large mass ariel, so my wireless connection doesnt keep cutting out.

You probably damaged your wireless card attaching the arial if you dont have any experience!!!!!!!!!
if you want to make or buy a proper high gain antenna for your wireless card reserch “how to make a wifi can-tenna” and “high gain laptop wirless antennas”
if you did damage your wireless card you can buy a new one from the manufacturer
