Septic System

Septic System ….?
Our house was made a new septic system, 2 years ago. But now that I sometimes walk by the bathroom, I have a mild water Smell smell. This is new, it never happened. What is wrong? Do I need something to prevent this?
A septic odor in the house could be a number be caused by things. You should check all of them; Bad wax ring seal. Under the toilet is a wax ring seals the toilet to the flange. During the time they can dry out and crack allowing septic gas leak back into the house. Antibiotics, anti-bacterial soap, excessive chlorine bleach. If you or other persons in the household has lately antibiotics or if you use antibacterial soap products, or an amount of bleach should be the bacteria with a product like Rid X (replace with a hardware store purchased) Unused drains or open pipe. If you have a floor drain, shower, tub or sink, do not regularly can be used to dry the water in the trap out and allow sewer gas into the house. Pour a pitcher of water down the drain or leave the water for a minute or two should be executed to fill the trap again and solve the problem. If you are somewhere like an open pipe to connect a washing machine that is not used, You order a rag in the end. Plugged vent. Animals and birds are nesting or store food in exhaust pipes. You should check them to ensure that they are clear. Propane and dead animals. I have several customers who had complained about a sewer smell only to find they had a propane leak or a dead rodent in the house. If Propane, you do not overlook the possibility that it could be the source of the odor. Hope this helps!
