How do you tell the difference between zinc and other magnetic metals such as aluminum?
My pet bird may have zinc poisoning (results come next week) and until then I will (not a toy, remove the zinc in them and some have metal clips for example). I know some are made of stainless steel, because they are not magnetic, but how do I distinguish between zinc and other metals without actually destroying the toy? I do not want to have all his toys be removed because he was so attached to them.
